We continue our theme of upcoming shows/movies that started as books with Dune by Frank Herbert. If you like Star Wars, this is its grandfather. Some say there’d be no George Lucas without it. Like not even born. This book got his parents so riled up that they got down to business and made whoopee.
While not that erotic, it’s certainly exotic, set in a desert wasteland in space. It follows the adventures of Paul Atreides as his family takes over the rule of a planet full of spice (a.k.a. future oil).
There is also a movie scheduled to come out on October 1, 2021 which gives you time to get obsessed and read the entire Dune saga. It stars Timothée Chalamet as the lead role, and a cast that includes Zendaya and Javier Bardem.
