Santa Monica, CA--Beef's Big Bratwurst & Beer Garden is a local haunt that serves up piping hot bratwurst and ice cold beer for all it's patrons. I used to go there daily when I got off work. I'd drink a refreshing Coors Light and play pool with the fella's while Beef cooked us up some hearty bratwurst covered in sauerkraut and mustard. We'd play pool regularly and sometimes bet on who'd sink the eight ball in early and lose the game. I figure I've gained just as much money as I've lost in that there hole in the wall. I think about my nights at Beef's Big Bratwurst & Beer Garden and I can't help but smile. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could, but I can't for the life of me remember where it was. I know it was near the beach. I think there was a house somewhere nearby with a red door. A UPS driver delivered a package once to the dentists office across the street. Maybe it was a pediatrist. And honestly it could've been a FedEx driver, or maybe even a bike messenger. I know for a fact that there were palm trees in the area, so that'll probably narrow it down. Oh Beef, if I could find you now, things would be better.
