Succumb To Yuletide Joy And Buy A Chestnut Praline Latte You Fucking Spool Of Yarn

You know what they say, "support local until it's the holiday season. After that, support Starbucks." The new cups have already been doled out and plenty of happy coffee drinkers are delighted to try new holiday themed lattes and enjoy some returning fan favorites. My favorite Starbucks holiday drink is the chestnut praline latte.

I enjoy the chestnut praline latte because I only sort of know what a praline is. I actually had to look them up so to get a clear image in my head. Here's a screen shot of what google has on the topic.

As you can tell, pralines are a lot like people. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, and they can be kind of nutty too. I'm not sure if I've ever eaten a praline, or if I've had some Christmas themed baked good with a praline filling, or if every cookie I've ever had is really a twist on the classic praline formula. But what I can tell you is that the chestnut praline latte tastes pretty good. Does it taste like a praline? I have no idea. Should you buy a chestnut praline latte? Not if you have a nut allergy. Have you learned something while reading this article? Probably not. Furthermore, you should probably buy local. Starbucks doesn't need your money. What they need to do is offer me a free praline so that I can compare it to whatever it is they're pouring into my cup.

Happy Holidays and have some merriment while you're at it,
