For this month’s book we’re heading to the Windy City at a lustrous time in its history, the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition A.K.A. Chicago’s World Fair. As you should have suspected by now, the story takes a dark turn, following the actions of H. H. Holmes, a man who is often credited as being the first modern serial killer. Ooo spooky.
If that’s not enough for you, Leo DiCaprio bought the film rights in 2010 and is supposedly working on a series for Hulu or a feature length film based around the events in the book.
